A former student at the University of Michigan has filed a lawsuit claiming he was kicked out of the school based on a false rape allegation for which he was never criminally charged.
The lawsuit alleges that school officials violated his rights to due process when they suspended him from the university and names 10 administrators as defendants. The lawsuit was filed late last month in U.S. District Court in the Eastern District of Michigan.
