A lawsuit filed by a 54-year-old woman from New Mexico who was forced to undergo an invasive cavity search at a Border Patrol stop has been partially settled as of this week. The lawsuit was filed against the El Paso County Hospital District and two Customs and Border Protection supervisory agents and alleged that she was forced to undergo an unwarranted six-hour cavity search which the agency refused to pay for. No drugs were found during the search.
